Tom is a native of Talbot County, Md., and grew up on the Miles River, just outside the town limits of St. Michaels. He and his wife, Debra, live on a waterfront farm on Harris Creek—only 5 miles from Tom's childhood home. Tom loves the Eastern Shore of Maryland, its waterways, wildlife and natural beauty. 

Tom has real estate and home construction in his blood. His grandfather, Edwin, was a real estate broker, and his father, Charles, was a builder and real estate developer. Tom has designed and built several homes in his lifetime, starting his first at 19 years old. He began his real estate career in 1985, and from 1994 through 2005, was the owner and broker/manager of Sharp, Critchlow, Nash and Crouch Real Estate. 

With his local knowledge and familiarity with Talbot County's creeks, rivers and 600 miles of shoreline, Tom Crouch has been listing, marketing and selling "Fine Talbot County Properties" for over 25 years.

Debra discovered the Eastern Shore while on an 18-month sailing adventure that took her from Connecticut to Trinidad. The warm October weather, dramatic sunsets and skies full of returning geese hooked her immediately. She still finds it magical and loves sharing this special part of the world with her customers. 

Before her move, Deb enjoyed a twelve-year marketing career in Connecticut with Godiva Chocolates, Pepperidge Farm and American Can. After settling in Easton, she earned her real estate license and worked on several innovative projects, including an adaptive reuse project creating upscale office space from a row of derelict buildings on West Street; Victoria Walk, condominiums created from a series of historic homes; and the redevelopment of Talbottown Shopping Center. 

Deb now lives on Harris Creek with her husband, Tom, and two dogs. She has been involved with many organizations over the years. She has been president of the Mental Health Association in Talbot County, co-chair of the Academy Art Museum Craft Show, co-chair of the Chesapeake Chamber Music Festival Marketing Committee and a member of Soroptimists of Talbot County and Christmas in St. Michaels. 

Deb graduated from Duke University and has an MBA from New York University. She and her husband, Tom, specialize in fine Talbot County properties.
